The Office of Assessment & Academic Program Review at the University of New Mexico
The primary role of the office is to oversee and monitor all components of the Assessment and Academic Program Review Processes at the University of New Mexico and to assist all colleges/schools/branches and programs in continuous improvement activities.
These processes are necessary for the university’s accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association in order to satisfy accreditation criteria. The University's ongoing evaluation and assessment processes provide reliable evidence of institutional effectiveness that clearly inform strategies for continuous improvement.
