The Office of Assessment & Academic Program Review (OAAPR)

The primary roles of the OAAPR are to oversee all components of assessment and academic program review processes at the University of New Mexico and to support all colleges, schools, branches, and programs with continuous improvement activities.

The OAAPR's work is necessary to satisfy university accreditation criteria from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association. UNM's ongoing assessment processes also provide evidence of institutional effectiveness and inform strategies for continuous improvement.
